Ode to a Pink Snowball

                                                       Your sides are pink,
                                                         You're fluffy goo,
                                                           You're cheap,
                                                             You're thick,
                                                               You're coconut too!
At first bite, I nearly fly
You gluey treat, I want to cry!
                                                                    You glorious sludge,
                                                                      You beautiful cake
You must be what the angels bake!
                                                                          My head does spin,
                                                                            Too sugar sweet!
                                                                              But now I'm gone,
                                                                                 I eat and eat!
                              YOU ARE JUST PLAIN NAUSEATING!!!

(I HATE THIS!)

A Blustery Day (that could have killed Pooh)

I came home from a friends to my dad frantically tying EVERYTHING down. I woke in the night to the worst howling, whistling ever. I could hear my window panes groaning against the thumps of wind! The power flashed off and back on several times. When I woke up, the metal siding on our porch roof was whipping around. The neighbors fence had blown out! Jordan and I were like rag dolls. It is the worst storm in almost 50 years. School was cancelled and I had to take a break by my friend's house. I had to sit down and run at intervals. The neighbors trees lashed around wildly and uprooted! Leaves sliced my cheeks and I felt like I was walking in slow motion on a treadmill! Power lines, semi trucks, fences, cars and trees are everywhere!

Ha, no NOT this Bad!

Day Eight: Goodbye NY

It has been a wonderful journey. But the most important part was spending time with my hero, mom. Though, I loved all the excitement, some of the best moments were giggling in bed with mom late at night. I am just so very grateful that I was able to go. It was well worth all the craziness!

Thank you so much for giving me this! I love you Mom and Dad!

Auditions, Auditions, the Horror!

I did my Annie audition today. I have a feeling this is the one that isn't going to work out. That is fine! I did my best, and that is all that counts to me! It would be fun to be in "Annie", since it is one of my favorite shows, but it will also be delightful to watch it! I have a list of people who I am wishing will get in, they deserve it so much!
I sang "Honey Bun" from "South Pacific". I hope I didn't belt to much, and I had a slight pause at the end. Over all, I think I tried hard. BREAK A LEG to all who tried out!

Science Fair

I did the science fair yesterday. It was fun, but I didn't win any special awards. Who cares? I learned something, and that is all that matters. The people who won deserved to! My experiment was; Can Kids Detect Caffeine?
There were a lot of cute and amazing projects there. One of my friends is going on to district.

Worried

I am frightened. My Omi is not doing well. She knows it is her time to go, and so she told me to get a picture of my Grama Mary Jane and she will look for her in heaven. I told her I think they would be best friends. The tears didn't come till later, and they were brief. She is happy, I should be happy for her. She will get to see her brother again. I love her though, and I don't think that its fair that I got such a short time with her. She promissed to teach me to knit, but she gets tired some days. She already considers me one of her 17 "grandchildren." I am number 18. I don't want her to leave, but I know I will see her again.

I love the computer program paint!
We have it at school and I absolutely love it!
Here are some of the things I did on paint.
